This range of ceramic heaters from Under Control Instruments has some of the latest features available, making them both flexible and functional. They are not only green in colour but they are also environmentally sound, with a 96% energy efficiency and the longest ever performance of all ceramic heaters, at a huge 10,000 hours operating time.
The maximum temperature obtainable is 700ºC, meaning applications can range from use in ovens for drying wood, to thermoforming machines.
A unique feature of these particular ceramic heaters is their chameleon like ability to change colour as the temperature increases. When they are cold the ceramic heaters are green, and as they get hot they turn yellow, which takes all the guess work out of planning a heating regime for you.
The heaters are available in a choice of sizes and shapes, from 122mm x 60mm to a square shaped 122 X 122mm. Voltages range from 120v to 480v to suit your needs, and wattages range from 150 to 1000W.
The heating wire itself is embedded in either the flat or concave surface of the heater to create either parallel or focused infra red rays. They comply with all EU implemented legislation and directives, and can be supplied complete with a thermocouple, so your new ceramic heaters are ready to go as soon as you take delivery.
