These new DeLonghi BlueFlame gas heaters bring something of a revolution to the world of portable gas heaters. Traditionally bottled gas heaters have been large, unattractive, and difficult to manoeuvre units. The DeLonghi Blueflame range strives to break that image, by bringing us gas heaters with style, portability and efficiency.
These heaters would not look out of place in a stylish lounge or contemporary office, with their sleek lines, smart black finish and funky blue flame effect. They are lightweight and portable, with castor wheels for straightforward mobility, giving you the flexibility to have on the spot heating, where, and when you want it.
The Blue Flame is almost 100% efficient, making it one of the most economical and environmentally friendly gas heaters available. The heat is both controllable and variable with 3 heat settings between 1.5kW to 4.2kW, and the heat flow works in harmony with the design to ensure warmth is delivered evenly into the room, without excess heating directly in front of the unit.
As with all gas heaters, safety is a priority, and these DeLonghi models feature a double cut off system which interrupts the flow of gas in the event of the flame failing to light, or if the CO2 concentration in the air rises beyond 1.5%
The unit works on a 15kg gas cylinder, and for homes requiring a secondary form of heating, the operation of LPG gas heaters will work out to be considerably cheaper than a mains electric alternative.
